I love coffee with cream, chocolate and ice cream. And all those mixed together. I love a good beer and sunshine and jeans that fit perfectly.
I'm a pretty good cook and a kickass housekeeper. I secretly love to do laundry but despise emptying the dishwasher.
I'm really good at eating with one hand while holding a baby with the other. I can breastfeed while putting the toddler on the potty and tying the preschooler's shoes. I've mastered combing hair into pigtails, kissing skinned knees and pushing a double stroller.
I like to read and watch bad TV, like The Bachelor. Or Housewives. But only New York and Beverly Hills.
I practice Yoga. I walk everywhere. And sometimes I run. Sometimes.
My husband, Brian, and I are college sweethearts. We married young and started our family a couple years later. Somedays we look at each other and wonder what we got ourselves into. Other days we laugh until our sides hurts and tears run down. Those are the days it makes it all worth it.
I used to work for money. Now I work for my ticket to heaven.
I wrote my first book when I was in elementary school. It's currently collecting dust in my mom's basement inside a box with "Jenny's Junk" scribbled on the outside in permanent black ink.
My Fourth Grade teacher told me I was a good writer. So did my Eighth Grade English teacher when she sent some of my assignments into a young writers contest. I never really believed them. I just liked to write.
And let's be honest here. I really only blog because it saves me loads of money on therapy.
